REASONS FOR GIVING ARTS MILDURA YOUR SUPPORT

WAYS TO SUPPORT ARTS MILDURA

What is Arts Mildura?

Arts Mildura is an independent, locally based, not for profit, community organisation.  Since its inception in 1994, Arts Mildura has grown from one small weekend arts festival, to an annual suite of major cultural celebrations across all art forms.

Our mission

Our mission is to remain focused on these core events, while creating new arts experiences that are engaging, entertaining, meaningful and transformative.
Supports Local Artists

Arts Mildura presents a calendar of events showcasing local and international artists, whilst providing opportunities and encouragement for aspiring local artists of all genres.

Where does the money go?

State funding body, Creative Victoria and locally based business, Tasco, have been ongoing and generous supporters for many years.

Creative Victoria has rigorous criteria to be met in order to qualify for their support, and Arts Mildura is appreciative of their ongoing confidence and encouragement!

Local business, Tasco Petroleum has a generous philanthropic attitude to many community organisations as well as Arts Mildura, and we are especially grateful for the gratus use of our current headquarters at 33 Deakin Avenue Mildura!

Most of our current major sponsor funds go towards other administrative costs, and salaries for our two part-time employees.

Mostly, Arts Mildura runs on Volunteer Power, including our Board and various Committees!

Additional funds sought go towards our artistic events, and payment of artists, both local and out-of-town.
