Maggie is not just an Australian food icon; she’s an essential ingredient in any discussion about food and flavour. Born in Sydney, Maggie today lives in the Barossa Valley in South Australia. The author of 10 cookbooks, her career spans farming, food production, television presenting and food writing. One of Australia’s most loved food personalities, Maggie has appeared on a number of cooking shows including ABC’s ‘The Cook and the Chef’, ‘MasterChef Australia’, and ‘The Great Australian Bake Off’ with Matt Moran. She also filmed a one hour special ‘Maggie in Japan’ for Foxtel which aired in 2017. Her latest cookbook, ‘Recipe For Life’, co-written with Professor Ralph Martins, encourages everyone, young, old and in-between, to enjoy quality, seasonal cooking every day.
