A movement / body weather workshop on the Lake Crosby Pink Salt Flats.
Body Weather was developed by butoh dancer Min Tanaka as a training and a way of questioning. This workshop uses Body Weather strategies to sharpen awareness of our body and how it is changed by, and intermingled with, its environment. We will bring our senses into direct contact with the salt surface and the surroundings of the Pink Lakes – inviting this desolate and delicate environment to dance us.
Open to artists curious to explore the relationship between body, movement and place.
Free to participate, please RSVP via this page.
